Random vintage photo from August 1962, a couple months after my parents got married, and their then brand new '62 Fury. Not a clue where the photo was taken. Obviously, that's my mother in the photo (she passed in 2009) . Dad owned the Fury until the day he passed away in Aug 2021 at 92 years old.

Probably one of the worst societal effects of the pandemic. A grammatically incorrect website were “normal/regular” people buy/sell lude/nude/pornography for their “fan base”.
At the hight, celebrities started using it a reportedly making millions over night, regular people were making $30k-$60k+ a month…it really highlighted what people demand when everything gets closed down…digital p#$$?

Damn; Tore a seal. If you ever rebuild a trans, buy all the dumb seal tools and sticky wax lubes; all of it. Don’t buy one manual, buy two or three. They all have different info diagrams and how to’s that really add up to make the whole job easier.

Also a good reason to do the air tests before the valve body goes back on, just in case a seal rolled, got cut, etc.
That too, I’m still a ways away from that even, lol. Since I had to order new shit, I ordered some new thrust washers and shit too. Plenty of things that don’t come in a rebuild kit that have to be sorted out separately. Output shaft journal bushings for the sun gear, snap rings, thrust washers, output shaft bearing..this trans is the most in-depth I’ve gone on a rebuild. Last time was just clutches and a band adjustment. Hopefully this will be the last small block trans I have to mess with for awhile, lol

Hmm, there's something you don't see every day!
I've always wondered why people don't clean things before taking photos for an ad. Might make whatever it is easier to sell (and maybe get more for it). Just an observation.......
