There was a chassied Imperial for sale in Fort Worth, but I let the dang ad time out before I saved it. If it resurfaces, I'll repost.

Looks like the engine is set back around 6" and has a narrower front hub to hub outside dimension, hence the slammed frontend. Kinda like the tires are tucked under the fenders, I like the rake.

I seriously doubt that there's anything from the original car left under the Imperial body.

Yeah, looks like the Mopar City Missle has the front tires tucked in the fenders aiding to the raked stance. My car is already back halved, but runs the stock front suspension. Im wanting to go with a strut front end kit with 2"x3" frame rails. The car already has a cage and requires a rework of the front supports as the windshield is stress cracked. Triangles are our friend, the previous owner didn't like triangles. LOL

Some of you know that I cut my MegaCab in half and did my own longbed conversion. So I have no problem
cutting off the front end of a Mirada to convert to a strut front end.
