1 other thing I've found . Look and see if you have a resonator on your exhaust system . If ya do , take it out . Better flow will get you better gas milage too .

The 0 TDC seems to be a California smog thing, I guess. When I first got it smogged it failed just because it was not at 0, the emissions were OK.
Will search for the happy spot, got only 11 mpg after advancing a little but I deserve 12-pack anyway.
Oh, by the way, how do you know if you have a resonator in the exhaust?
