I just learned alot! The one I've found has the Sunrise Package. I need to see what other options is has other that the auto. I guess the 225 with 1-barrel was in California only.

Thanks for posting this,

440-VS

Great info. Thanks. Anyone have production numbers? I have a '79 Aspen R/T 360 4bbl w/lean burn. Paint code SB7 w/white or silver stripes(hard to tell). It has the rear spoiler and window louvers.

Sweet, post the '80 Volare or Aspen brochure if you have it.
Thanks!

The '79 Sport Wagon package rocks!

I love the second page with the shot of Joyce DeWitt from "Three's Company"
Holding "Tatoo" from "Fantasy Island" on the left.

I always get a warm fuzzy when I look at old brochures. How cool it would have been to order up one them bad boys.

Ah yes.... The good ol' days....
Somehow I don't think ordering a new hyundai is quite the same.

Got any more of those beautiful brochures Eric?

Wow I'm having a flashback.

I really would love to have the car in the brochure with the beige vinyl buckets and buddy seat combo and the stick shift.

When I went to look at the '80 wagon down by the lakeshore off Kennedy in T.O. a couple of years ago it had a mint beige bucket interior and a stick shift.

Wonder what happened to that car.

Yup, s'me.

Did you ever go see that brown '80 Volare wagon.

Big dude with a ponytail called Frank selling it. Had a place close to the Scarborough Bluffs.

OK car but he wanted a lot and it had sat at the end of his driveway for quite a while so wasn't just a drive-away.

Had the most dry rotted tires I have ever seen still to hold air.

Never saw that one but about five or six years ago there was a guy by me selling a silver 78 wagon. Wanted waaaayyy too much for it.

Don't remember the silver one, there was a nice red woody that has changed hands a couple of times in the last couple of years just sold this spring on Kijiji in Owen Sound. Great price so it sold fast.

I special ordered my 79 black and gold strobe striped R/T. Radio delete! Console w/black buckets. I should have got the optional 3.23 gear, but at least it was a SureGrip. E 58 police 360. I wanted T-tops, but my parents overruled me on that one. Later I got a used 78 Aspen R/T with T-tops.

This is mine. Bough mine while stationed at Howard AFB, Canal Zone, Republic of Panama (April 79), and is parked in the drive way.
