They sort of improved the forecast this morning. Actually got darn nice today, to. Low 60's mostly sunny, no wind, aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh. Looks like low 70's Friday through next Monday(!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Not to be a glass half empty guy here but I just KNOW we'll pay for this nice weather later on.

They smell predators.

NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. — A buffalo roamed onto a highway in the Niagara region today and died after being hit by two cars.
Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says two drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash.
He says the buffaloes have been on the run for a few days one made its way onto the QEW around 6 a.m. in Niagara Falls, Ont.
Schmidt asked drivers to keep an eye out for a "big, black thing" on the road.

Swan roundup begins as famous birds relocated to their winter quarters a couple weeks early.

Around here this time of year, once you get out of the city a little, it's horny deer (by horny I mean chasing after the doe's) that appear out of nowhere on the road and wild turkeys. Those things are so dumb they just stand there in the middle of the road. I take "the back" way to work until the snow flies and had a whole group of them just wandering around right in the middle of the lane. Had to come to a dead stop and get on the horn. Eventually they shuffled on over to the shoulder. Don't want to hit one, they will do damage. Big sob's, head sticks up higher than my truck hood and I heard they weigh anywhere between 30-60 lbs. Like mutant turkey's I think, lol!

100% clear sky today. Only got to around 60 for a high but for some reason the sun seemed brighter today than it has in a while. The air must be really clean and the humidity was really low (20-25% range).

But it was very warm today. Not summer warm but I did the oil on my Fifth in a t-shirt.

Well let's see. Could today be any more the opposite of yesterday with it's 100% clear, 80 degree, light breeze weather? It was 62 when I got up at 5:30am, got up to 65 by 9 am and then,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the north wind came out of nowhere at 20-30 mph, gusting to 45 mph. Temp dropped to the low 50's within 15 minutes. THEN,,,,,,,,,the rain came and it got colder still. About 2pm it was 47 degrees and raining sideways. Not nice outside at all

Guess this time of year could be worse. Instead of rain it could have been the "S" word.

Hmmmmm, Sunday the high was 80, 2 days later today and it was 49. How does that work? Did I mention the 10-20 mph wind right out of the north? Can you say "SUCK"? Sure,,,,,,,,,I knew you could. Might get our first hard frost tonight
