Look like a cross between a Cadillac and a Mercury to me, what is it?.

Some various Mopar cars...

I love the shape of these models, in Chrysler, Dodge, or Plymouth form.

There were lots of cars up to the standard of this one.

The only year, make, and model that should be pink imo :).

And it's a flat top roof as well, my personal favorite style.

Someone has gone to the trouble and expense of bringing this across the pond. Respect!.

More pics to follow.

An authentic replica of the Pan America Hudson, love the multi-carb flathead engine.

Do you see many Studebakers at your shows?.
DSC_0000034.jpg
Or AMC Pacers?.
DSC_0000044.jpg
And a clean Dodge to end with.

There were trade stalls and autojumble as well. So I picked up a Mopar mini starter for £95 ($120) while I was there

There were 500 cars there, you have to enter a picture of your car to be in a lottery draw for pre-entry to the show.. I shall try my luck again next year.

Wow, a lottery draw to be in a car show. Not heard of that, before.

A nice show with a nice selection of automobiles, present. I do see, on occasion, most of those vehicles from time to time – but getting to point (here anyway) anything over thirty years old are not on the road much.

I have a 1970 Chrysler 300-H that is in bad need of restoration. They only made about 500 (depending on source) of them to begin with.
Even has a factory fiberglass hood and trunk lid. Matter of fact, the only way to get into the trunk is via a button in glove box. Also has automatic A/C!

The picture is not mine for mine looks, um, no were near as nice.

The Army owns the venue, and impose a strict limit on numbers so the organisers use a draw as a way of giving everyone a chance to enter their cars. It doesn't have to be a concours car, but you are required to send a picture with your application to show it is a proper American, rod, classic, or custom car (or bike).

I have a Buick like that, mind you, it's because the lock is broken!. :)

Perhaps faithful reproduction would be a better way of putting it. Genuine fake doesn't cut it really....:)
Whatever, it was a fine job, I wonder if the original cars still exist?.

That's a good question. I would think that the originals would have been so beat up that they would have been scrapped long ago. I wonder if anyone thought ahead as to the history they were making?

The powder blue DeSoto os a 60, not a 59. The one that "looks like a cross between a Cadillac and a Mercury" is a 51 DeSoto.
