Just got back from a great show at Carlisle. Miradas showed well, in a small but competitive class. Kevin's beautiful 360 four speed Mirada took first in class, the Hemi Mirada took second and Joe Jr's took third. Not bad for the red-headed step-children of the Mopar world!

I know it's a bit late ,but it was nice meeting you and your son , and the two beast in person . Nice job on that conversion ,and Congrats. Thanks for the info on the front seats , I may go that route since mine are burnt up by the sun.
I wish I had got there earlier ,it was burning hot . I wish I got to meet the guy with the 4 speed Mirada. The old guy with the Diplomat Coupe was pretty cool . That car looked pretty mean from the rear with the narrowed rear taken up by those wide Hoosiers. It's always good to know they are other Mirada / fjm body entusiast out there . I just wish we had better support from the aftermarket but unfortunately Mirada's / j bodies are not a highly demanded vehicle .

It was great to meet you, too. Kevin, the guy with the sweet 4 speed Mirada, is on this forum. His ID is MiradaA833. I think he spent most of his time this year near his Dad's sweet van or his brother's gorgeous Challenger, both of which also placed. He's another great guy to talk to, and his car is awesome. I think the "old guy" you're talking about actually had a LeBaron. That was another sweet ride. He was telling me he has several other race cars as well. He was fun to talk to. Hopefully I'll see you and your car there next year as well!

I think its cool to put work and be into lesser known/liked cars. It's too obvious to want the more coveted/popular cars. But the less popular cars are more interesting and I find the people working on them have more passion for the craft than just a surface love for more mainstream "popular" models!
