So I have decided that after a long winter, and getting my interior prepped to go back in, that I am going to go in a different direction and not reinstall it. I've gone so far as to even obtain new headliner material for it.

Now I am faced with what to do with my interior. I suppose the logical choice would be to sell it to someone who needs one to complete their ride, or part it out - which sounds time consuming and a bit of a hassle. What's a fair price to ask for an interior? Is it worth trying to sell or?

I know some may try to dissuade me, but I'm fairly certain I will be going a different direction with this now. Hopefully I can help someone out down the road with their own project.

It's a 1983 Mirada 318, with a red/burgundy cloth interior. The seats are in great shape but presently wrapped in plastic stored inside as they were not in the car over the winter. The body panels are in the house with the factory headliner already prepped for the new one to be applied (which I also have).

I am trying to get an idea of what it's worth to someone. Would be willing to do everything but maybe the dash and belts (unless I can source cheap alternates). The plan to forego the interior is an idea that is being kicked around and nothing has been committed to yet.

Been a while... still got that interior kicking... am considering selling the lot with the car tho. Very torn. Fortunately the car is in storage, and I can ponder it as I watch the snow fall.

FYI... those 5th Aves have a high quality leather interior. The cover assemblies are stout in construction. Leather is something that can be restored back to new condition with a few leather supplies. They are usually pretty cheap in the wrecking yards and they fit the low-back seat frames perfectly. Inexpensive upgrade.

Mind has a red with white bucket/console Interior. I need a white headliner, visors, drivers seat track(s) and white ?PW2? vinyl for drivers seat repair. Depending on condition and bench/buckets, it may be more valuable in pieces depending on the buyer. Id like to find a set of recliner front buckets from a newer Mopar that maybe I can stretch my white interior over. Whatever you decide, theres a pack of wolves scratching at your door.

I could really use some door window parts; like the rubber/felt pieces that keep the glass from scratching against the metal parts.

Do you have a list of parts you're willing to "part" with?

Hi there, sorry it has been a while.
I am still considering letting the interior go. I will need a month or so to get some photos together. As far as what I am considering, if its anything, it will be everything... the whole shebang. It's red, and not leather, but its in great shape. The only caveat is that the top of the doors has some splits along the main rail, which I believe is somewhat common. The dash is not cracked and seat covers have been on this car from new until about a decade ago. There is new headliner material already here and ready for install. I look forward to getting it out and posted. Thanks.

Just the material or the headliner itself? I don't know if I am willing to part it out quite yet... so its just hypothetical now, don't know if you wanna waste your time.

Theres some posts on where to get the whiskers or felts. Maybe its been made a sticky or should have been. I cant imagine theres a single oem felt left. We all need them. I cant remember where the post was, or who has them, but that is our go to for window felts.

Alex, Morada, Any local upholstery shop will have or can get whatever headliner, cloth, vinyl or leather you need. They can even make door panels and package shelves without big speaker holes. Call around, you'd be surprised what's just around the corner.
