Ok, I saw jonno's thread today. "Favourite music albums" which was cool but I thought I'd narrow it down a little.

#1 Pedal Pushers. All the tunes you can think of that make you want to wood it. Believe it or not (I know it's hard to believe in February), CAR SEASON WILL COME! Before you know it, you'll have the windows down, the tunes cranked and (where possible) the pedal to the metal!

So, now's a good time to come up with a list.

Who knows, when it's done I might even compile it all into a list (If I'm not too hammered) and post it. Then everyone can make a playlist and we'll all have it.

It'll be like "The Best Of F,M,J" man.

My start off of pedal pushers (in no particular order ) are:

More than a feeling - Boston
Highway Star - Deep Purple
Tom Sayer - Rush

Next? :headbang:

Radar Love - Golden Earring,
Although its an early 70's release, its a good "Holding the Mat Down" song... I have a few more but will hold off for another time....

HEY! There's no year restriction here.

Any year, any tune, any artist, any genre.

Great, I was thinking Radar Love also.

Other faves are Blue Collar BTO

Looking out for #1 BTO

Taking Care of Business BTO

Can you tell I like BTO!

Saw Deep Purple in Ottawa last week. Ian Paice rocks those drums!

I don't want you to take this the wrong way but, except for the joe walsh tune and one b.t.o. tune a lot if these seem more like #1 quaalude pushers than pedal pushers.

I ain't sayin, I'm just sayin. :icon_mrgreen:

Nuttin' wrong with quaaludes for cruisin', man.

Also love Eric Burdon and War "Spill the Wine"

Van Halen hot for teacher, awesome drum rift sounds like a car exhaust.

I guess I am a little older. Not much a fan of the mid 70's to 80's music. The is the kind of stuff that makes me push the pedal every day.
