It's with a heavy heart that I'm selling my 1987 Chrysler Fifth Avenue "Adalida." She's been a very good car to me for the past twenty years. But, it became time to upgrade to a newer car, which I did in June of this year. "Addy" has 100,492 original miles, 318 2BBL V8 (w/ Lean Burn that's never gave any problems), leather seats, power door locks (don't work) & windows (only the driver's window works), tilt, cruise, power steering, battery is only about 1 1/2 years old, tires are good, but nine years old, Chrysler AM/FM radio with cassette tape. She's been well maintained since I got her in 1999. She's due for a cooling system service (flush and replace antifreeze (have two gallons of new antifreeze for her), replace all cooling system hoses, thermostat), fuel filter (have new one), oil and filter change (have new oil filter). Air filter has been replaced. Unfortunately, the paint and landau vinyl top aren't in good shape. Have been physically unable to keep the paint waxed and the top has been damaged by hail. :( "Addy" uses Mobil Conventional 10W30 oil and doesn't burn any. Sometimes she makes lifter noise when first started. The headliner is coming off in places, the sunvisors need recovered or replaced, the A-pillar and B-pillar interior moldings will need replaced or recovered (as most "M" Bodies have had problems with). Have some extra parts for her in the trunk including the left taillight and "Chrysler" plate replacements for the ones that got hail damaged. Also have a factory service manual and parts catalog that will go with her and service records as well. Am asking $2,000 or best offer. Located in the southern part of the Western Nebraska Panhandle. Could have listed Addy for sale locally, but i want her to go to a good, loving home to someone that will appreciate her. So that's the reason I am posting her "for sale" ad here on the FMJ Bodies Only Forum.

The late 80's produced some rough paint challenges. You did well with what you had to work with.
You have her nicely priced. Don't let her go at a fire-sale price.

I can see blue interior (which I like) - but can't make out what color(s) the overall paint used to be. Maybe the paint codes (from fender) might help. This might even be a two-tone car - but I can't tell.

Thanks for the nice comments. Am glad the price I have on Addy is in the ball park. Thought if I couldn't get her sold, I'd have to get what I can, but glad to know I should not do that! Thanks again for your advice.

Addy's exterior paint isn't two-tone. The clear coat has really went to pot, as I was physically unable to keep the paint waxed every year. I believe it's the Twilight Blue, but would need to take a pic of the fender tag to see what the paint code is.

Hope someone out there is interested in giving Addy a good, loving home. She will also need new windshield wiper linkage bushings as the right hand side had one break. If anyone on the forum is at all interested, please let me know. I'm unable to check here often but will need to since she's for sale. Are '80's Fifth Avenues hard to sell these days? Don't know if younger people would be interested in her, since she isn't fuel injected. Bet most younger people don't even know how to start a vehicle with a carb since they probably never messed with that.

Thanks.

I really like the midnight blue as well as the blue interior. The same thing happened to the paint on my charcoal gray ’86 Fifth Ave. Keeping some wax on the car 10+ years ago would have done todays paint wonders – but that didn’t happen.

It is an 11 hour/700-mile trip each way (depending on where at in NE panhandle you are at), for me - which is a bit further than I'd like.
