I can no longer keep my J body. To many mechanical responsibilities and not enough times. 3 kids does that, I guess. I have loved this car since I purchased it in 1999. It runs and drives. Clean title. 5.9 bolted to an A500 ending with a disc brake limited slip 8 1/4. The body and interior are...
Hey guys,
I am getting ready to put new rubber on and decided to start a thread on tires for our application(s). What do you have? What have you tried? Dimensions that you prefer. Etc...
The last set I bought were the Cooper Cobras. They were good for me and held up fine. I put 255/60R15 on...
I recently purchased a SD. How did you like it? Why did you get rid of it? Also, where did you get that throttle/kickdown bracket? Brand and part number would be nice..The one offered by demon is cheap looking, IMO. Your Mirada sounds good with the TBI...
Check out the air box selection here. I have been looking to get a dual snorkel box for a while now. They have a mean look to them, and I think my mopar cleaner will fit for a lid. The one you picked is nice, just offering this site I found searching for the same.

That reminds me, I put the front clip of my 82 Cordoba LS on this car because the Cordoba was a rust pile and the Mirada clip was damaged. I bought this car back in 2000.. Also, not visible in these pics is the fact that I swapped out the Mirada taillights for the Cordobas.
Thanks for Props, everyone. I certainly don't get any from the wife..haha.
HSP: BTW, I did have to bend my own lines. However, this new copper/nickle stuff is easy to manipulate. And its reasonably priced.
HSP: The only fabricating I had to do was the center axle housing hole in the backing plate needed to be opened a little. Like a 1/100". holes lined up and bolted right on. As for the OD just like KK says 2200 at cruising speed. the unit will make your final drive ratio 2.45. ( 3.55 x .69 =...
I need to do all of mine. I remember an article series in Mopar Muscle " Project Cordoba"( AKA Moby Doba) from 94-95 and one of the things they did was a analog gauge set just like R/T Mirada has. they did a bunch of cool stuff in that project, but I admired the gauge cluster the most...
Its an 83 Mirada, non CMX.
Stock it came with the 318/904 & 7 1/4 set up. All of that has been replaced with a mild 360 with a stock(for now) A500 and a 8 1/4 3:55 sure grip in the rear. Converted the rear brakes to disc from a junkyard ZJ(Grand Cherokee). All new brake system from master to...
I installed the A500 in mine about 10 years ago. Works well...It needs to be rebuilt as it was a junkyard piece that I threw in after my 904 crapped itself...Will be keeping an eye on this thread, for sure.
