The Cordoba wheel I installed on my '73 D100 is leather wrapped. I used 1/8" thick upholstery padding between the wheel and the leather cover, and it's nearly as well padded as the OEM version.

Bill, most service manuals have those dimensioned drawings. I've compared Dakota drawings to the '56 by match scaling the JPGs in TurboCAD and overlaying them. It's not precise, but gives a good idea of the similarities and differences.
