Since I cant swap better gears into my 224 geared 8-1/4 rear because of the small carrier, and I will never get close to the hp numbers it takes to break an 8.25 stock rear... I'm thinking I should use a bolt in swap. The whole frickin rear. So.. if you are a northeaster, reasonably close to...
I cant tell if it is in my box, or in the steering coupler.. Definitely one of those two tho. I assume there is a steering box adjustment I can do to see if it improves anything, But Looking at the wiggle in the wheel (and steering shaft) going into the box I'm thinking it the coupler is the...
So.. My temp warning light came on the other day. Right after I cleaned pretty thoroughly under the hood. Yeah, I know.. not the best idea. The temp seems low enough, no crazy boil over when opening the cap at all.. everything seems normal, except for the light. Since, I did a thermostat change...

My car is Low.. no issue even on the shit roads around here. Running 235/65/17, any bigger or wider would cause a few crunchy scrape noises. Is VERY close to rubbing, but ok. No idea how it'd do with folks in the back seat. Speedo is perfect by my gps in that tire size too
.
The wheels are these..the same as these anyway. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mustang-Bullit-17-8-wheel-rim-/321228913386?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheels&hash=item4acabc3aea&vxp=mtr

I'll have to check tire size tomorrow... according to my gps the speedo...
No bb for me.. :) Going to do a 5.9 magnum swap. Mild cam, headers, dual plane, gears out back.. a little taller than 3.55, def shorter than a 2.24. not sure what gear yet. Is the plan anyway.
