Worst part is a guy wants to trade me a really nice 76 TrailDuster that I used to own and regret selling. But I wouldn’t be able to keep the the TD either.. Otherwise bring a 318 and we’ll swap it in and you can drive her home. lol. Would be one heck of an adventure.

The car is unfortunately for sale. I really like it and want to return her to the road, but due to my current financial circumstances I don’t think I will be able to. Please view the listing in the For Sale section if interested or PM me. I would like to see it go to a fellow F body fan rather...

I’ve been away from my classic mopars for a while, sometimes life gets busy. I finally rigged up a fuel system to the car, I wanted to hear it run. Keep in mind I had only briefly heard it fire off once or twice. It started right up. I got to stick it into gear and see that the transmission has...

Notes taken: buy the brass one. Also, I found this key chain at a second hand store. Was worth the dollar.

That valve looks like it would disintegrate almost immediately. Hopefully I can clean up my old one.

Would saying its front disc, rear drum help narrow it down? It has the 10” drums.

So what is that “valve stem” for? The rest of it makes sense, but that one part doesn’t.

Guess I better start looking for a new one. Hopefully all the lines come loose from it easily, I had good luck with all the other lines. But I have a feeling I’ll get to the last one and my luck will run out.

This thread will be for me to document progress I make at putting my Aspen back on the road after sitting since 1994. For those of you who didn’t see my Aspen when I joined the board let me catch you up to speed. 76 Aspen Custom Coupe. Power steering, power brake, cruise, ac, fender turn...

    Shade Tree auto body

The 76 aspen coupe I've talked about on here, much like every F-body, has rust. The critical parts on my coupe are solid. I need to fix my rust hole in my c pillar, do a few patches in the lower quarters, dog leg on my driver fender, tops of both fenders. I have a pretty good plan in place and...

    76 Aspen belt routing

The pulley turns smoothly, so I guess I could leave it in place. I was hoping it would be easy to remove that big bulky compressor out of the way. If I leave it, I can always track down a good compressor and use up my R12 I have.

    76 Aspen belt routing

Looking for some insight on how I can route some belts. My Aspen is a factory AC car, but compressor is junk, pulpy turns, clutch doesn’t. Do I have to run the compressor just to have the belts fit? I have a different 318 core engine that runs a belt for the water pump and alternator only. I...

Too far gone? 76 Aspen Coupe

The carpet is very discolored and stained. I intend to replace it. In my experience, you can’t get the rat dripping smell out of it, unless there is some trick I don’t know.
