Thanks for posting this. The flange difference and the lighter weight was news to me.

Thought maybe it was just me. Been having similar problems. Items either no good out of the box or wearing out faster than they should. Pretty much re-using the old parts as much as i can.

To edit my initial response, HH41 would be a Volare Custom 4dr sedan. The base would be HL41, and the top of the line Premier would have been HP41

Thin thin metal tag is an inspection tag, but i can't recall what it indicated. They were usually mounted under the fender tag.
