I put an NOS replacement high-side / discharge hose on my '79 Aspen Wagon. The replacement high side requires a smaller adapter for the service port as compared to the factory-issued R-12 Parts. This is solved by the use of an appropriate adapter to the regular R-12 Gauge set and hoses. FYI.

Sometimes you can blast some schmoo into the retractor mech, after removing the B billar interior cover. Maybe use WD-40 or other such lubricant with a flexible wand/spray straw.

I put a Walbro in line iof the fuel flow in front of the rear end housing feeding from a stock tank and stock pickup. Been that way since 2008. Works fine. no issues until it gets to ~2 gallons remaining.
