I have a volare I am planning on making a road runner tribute. I purchased some used window louvers, but I am wondering how they are typically are attached? Is there any risk of them falling off? Thanks!

Seems like these plastic ones are super fragile. I am thinking of just making a custom metal one. I just talked to a machinist buddy who has a lathe.

Here are some pictures of the broken part. I am worried if I get another plastic part like this it could easily break again? The turn signal seems kind of "sticky" and hard to snap into left/right turn positions. I am wondering if I need to replace the switch as well. Thanks!

Are the jeep parts bolt-on? Definitely interested if you could send me some part numbers and/or links to these parts. I just don't want to do any custom fabrication. Only reason I was considering cop car suspension is because I am thinking about purchasing a $1000 360 v8 cop car and swapping...

Are they much better? There is a 360 V8 M body cop car for sale near me I was considering buying as a parts car. I posted another thread asking about suspension as well.

I am curious if anyone knows if M body cop car suspension would be a nice upgrade on my 80 volare? Would something like that be worth doing? If so, would it basically be a bolt on? Or would it require a lot of fabrication? If it isn't a simple bolt on, I probably would not bother doing it and...

Hi there, I have a 1980 volare. The steering seems pretty loose. I do not have a lot of experience working on cars, but I am trying to learn. I was wondering if someone has a guide or advice on how to tighten up the steering? Thanks!

Is it possible it is 111k or 211k miles? My odometer on my volare only has 5 digits so when it turned over past 100k it started at 0 again.

Regarding the value, what is this car worth fully stock? I could only find a few for sale but were pretty trashed. Its the 6 cyl motor with 100k original miles. I didn't think it would be worth much but the memories are always going to be worth more.

For sure anything I replace would be bolt in only. Definitely not going to hack or weld anything on it. And I would keep everything I do replace so I could always put it back on. Here are some pictures of my current wheels and hubcaps. Are these stock?
