Had a Duster in my shop for race wiring and plumbing. Front end was missing. Hopping in and out of the car, the body lines look very similar from this 1970 Duster to my '80 Aspen. Aspen needs to go on a diet before the BB goes in. Can't find any fiberglass parts. Swap do-able?

I've wondered about this. Try it and let us know. How bad could it be?

Anything is possible with a torch and a welder, but the A and F/M/J are completely different architectures. Nothing would bolt up.

Just hang the fenders and the fiberglass header panel on the A body. The header panel is held up by the fenders, so how unusable could it really be?

If nothing lines up (and it won't, guaranteed), there's a helluva lot more to it than just "hanging" parts.

I've seen A Body grilles stuffed into Aspens.

If the wheel wells line up enough, then yeah, it's entirely possible to make it work.

Paul Rossi put an A body front frame in his Super gas Mirada. There were some pictures of the job in Hot Rod magazine.

Does that mean a 1976 Duster front end will work, 1976 Duster-1976 Volare?

The fenders rely on the rad support and that whole wheel/frame structure under them. If all the measurements are close it could fit but then you have the whole curve of the side and body lines to deal with.

The Fbody is wide like an Ebody, a 440 easily fits the engine compartment like a B or Ebody. The Fbody fenders have a rounded side profile the Abody fenders are pretty much flat in comparison. The Fbody hood is much wider than the Abody.
US Body Source had hoods and bumpers at one time but in my opinion I think there parts are junk. I just made my own hood and front bumper.

I'm glad you mentioned the engine space. I'm looking to go BB.
