This site has been taken over by members constantly reposting their for sale ads.

I just found a useful tool and that’s blocking the members that are doing it.
No more Mexican cars or rebuild/6 distributors or the parts I don’t need.

I've done business with both of them. They're legit. I support the people that support the hobby.

You can just put them on ignore if it bothers you.

Ads are a very sucessful part of these forums. The ignore feature is your friend if you don't care about parts.

It’s been done but unfortunately the ads have consumed the forum, there are more reposts of ads than posts about talking points.

This is the slowest of the "For_BodiesOnly" forums. You wouldn't even notice them over on FABO where there are a lot more ads

It doesn’t change the fact that the reposted ads dominate this forum.
Reposting of members ads or are you getting ads covering the site's pages from outside vendors?
Because this site is much smaller than A, and B bodies, I don't get here often to moderate.

If you are talking about commercial ads, Those are not posted by the site. If you are a Gold Member, you won't see those ads.

Oh, and don't add an angry emoji to every ad you don't like to see. Like I said, just block the member placing the ads and you won't see them. They are a very important part of these forums. Block the member or scroll on by is the best way to handle this.

Well I’m sure I don’t have the only set of eyes that find the crazy amount of ads constantly at the top of the list uninviting , especially when you consider how many people actually respond daily on this site. It wasn’t that long ago that it was much busier.

I’m impressed by the determination of the defense of the ads by people who only post ads and no content. It seems like the site is giving away a source of revenue for what is actually a business.

Oh well the ignore button does work
