My grandfather had that quote printed on a 8.5x11" sheet of paper that sat under the lid of his toolbox he used to take to work everyday. I found it, laminated it and placed it back in the toolbox. I use that box out in the garage now.

Roseville Moparts Car Show Oct 5th

There is plenty of parking through Roseville. You could probably park in front of the old Ram Chargers building. 32456 Gratiot Ave Roseville, MI 48066 That parking lot is huge. Or you can park in front of my house in the street. I live in a sub not too far from there. Hit me up in PM if you...

Stock Cylinder Head Flow Numbers Needed

Yeah, no floor pan modification is necessary. The front half of the 518 is the exact same shape and size of a 727. With 340/360 in a factory 318 short block you're looking at a static compression ratio in the low 8's. This is going to hurt if you're looking for close to 400 ft/lbs of torque...

Stock Cylinder Head Flow Numbers Needed

My '87 has the style tank where the vent protrudes from the tank and fits into a pocket in the trunk floor. The only option is to beat the shit out of the floor for clearance. I'm not sure when they changed to this style tank.

Stock Cylinder Head Flow Numbers Needed

Hey, no problem. If your manifolds are in good shape I wouldn't hesitate to reuse them. This article is what I'm basing my conclusion off of: https://www.motortrend.com/how-to/mopp-0307-mopar-crate-engine-exhaust/ 318 manifolds at a 300HP level perform good. Don't spend money on new...

Stock Cylinder Head Flow Numbers Needed

I found flow numbers from the Shady Dell Speed Shop on Archive.org. That place used to be THE place to get Mopar heads done and had a wealth of information on the site. Bad stuff went down and it was forced to close years ago. When comparing flow numbers between heads it really should be done...

Stock Cylinder Head Flow Numbers Needed

The 5.9L is the best option, but has anyone asked what this guy wants to do? Maybe he has a low mileage motor he just wants to toss heads and a cam in? If availability and budget is the concern then just do what the factory did with police motors and toss J heads onto your 318. Yeah, you lose...

Moparts on the Web - Main Index Not a table, but it states 135cfm max. Probably.400". 302 heads are junk. You're not making more than 200hp without tons of modifications.

    UPGRADE P/S UNIT

One of the best upgrades I did to the car. Completely removed the slop at 12 'o clock and tightened the steering up lock-to-lock. For a worm screw box it's not going to get any better.

    UPGRADE P/S UNIT

The kit that includes the box, column adapter, etc is $850. You'll need a pressure hose. They sell it or you can make your own out of PTFE hose. I made my own and kept it all AN. Out the door your look at about $1k. BAC Steering Box Conversion Kit - Large Sector 73-82 - Bergman Auto Craft...

    Power steering pump

First time I ever did this I used copper crush washers with the correct ID and turned them down using a drill and a file to get the correct OD. I was broke. And it worked.

    2019 Project Log

I'll have to measure my pullies. The pump I was messing with in that post gave up the ghost and I bought a CVF pump from Mancini to replace it. Used the valve it came with and it seems OK. Little hard to turn at a stop, but otherwise good.

    ready to run distributor.

If you tap that top lead on a ground it should fire the coil. This will at least tell you there is life in the ECU. Honestly though, modern ECUs are all junk. Take yours apart and you'll find it's not an actual transistor under that heatsink. Doesn't matter where you source them. They're...
