Best Fel-Pro Intake Gasket for Edelbrock Intake

The performer intake doesn't have actual 4 barrel size ports but they are bigger so if any of the 2barrel size gasket depends on those areas to seal it'll have problems. Best to stick to the 4 barrel size. Also use rtv rather then the Cork end gaskets.

A Volare Collection, 6 cars, $500 British Columbia Facebook

It's not that much in the middle of nowhere when it comes to Canada lol. It's a pretty popular area in BC. I think it's probably 500 or more per car and he only threw the price on the ad. Some interesting looking cars.

Best Fel-Pro Intake Gasket for Edelbrock Intake

yes especially when you already know you have sealing issues. But if everything else on the engine is original it could very well also have dried out valve seals. Both are more likely then head gasket.

    EFI fuel tank

Have you thought of cutting an area out for clearance and making a cover for it? One of my cars that's what the factory did. Makes getting to the sender so much easier.

Best Fel-Pro Intake Gasket for Edelbrock Intake

Looks like 1213 is the 4bbl size and 1243 is 2bbl size. From pics neither of those look like they have he holes in the middle. Which even if you aren't running EGR it still needs for the choke if you're using a stock setup. = Fel pro MS90109 has that.

    FMJ Differentials

For 88/89 there were a number of regular ones thst got 8 1/4. Plus anything could have been changed over the years. You have to look underneath.

will all 4 seats fit in a Dip?

That bolt holds the shield in. There's usually a flap to in the shield to get to it. Or take the shield off.

It's not hoarding it's collecting spare parts!

    J BODY LEAF SPRINGS

I wouldn't bother, any new ones now should last the rest of the life of the car. The plus with leaf springs is they last for decades and any truck shop can service them if needed. Re arch them, add a leaf, make a new main. They could make a whole new bundle but it's cheaper to get that from...

    Tape stripes

Various original ones pop up on ebay sometimes but it usually won't work that well anymore at that age. The pinstripe in a roll is pretty easy to curve around the wheels but where that ends and goes back to straight you'd have to cut it and re-start it. I prefer yours over the original way...

1989 Fifth Avenue Dual Exhaust setup.

The car I have with dual exhaust was done before I got it. The trunk floor wasn't messed with, I don't know what the top of the tank looks like.

1989 Fifth Avenue Dual Exhaust setup.

No problem with the sway bar. I'm not sure why the thing with the vented gas tank suddenly started coming up. Moving the tank over was the way everyone did it at Farley's and it was never a big issue.

    WANTED Heater control valve

There is but it's not replaceable. Those old fuel pumps bolt together.

    Fuel Line

Depends on what line. Use the new easy to bend stuff. You get what you pay for, the cheap stuff can start rusting pretty quickly.

    Gran Fury AC

Dude you feel the heater hoses under the hood to make sure they're both hot? Default when there are vacuum problems is usually to blow warm air out the defrost. So cold air indicates its either not getting heat inside or probably a blend door isn't working properly.

    Gran Fury AC

Little thin line somewhere going through the firewall. Chances are if its a vacuum problem unless the rubber part where it connects to the intake is hard or split or disconnected the lines for the controls under the dash have broken up. There are several posts about that.

    Gran Fury AC

Not fully sure how that one works. If it's the same as the Chrysler one it's semi automatic with a sensor an motorized blend door that can fail and cause issues. And the vacuum lines behind the controls can get brittle and break but doesn't seem to be as much of an issue in places like NY. I...

    Build sheet

Wow. I've had a couple 88s stripped down to nothing and never saw build sheets in them. But there's no arguing that- your second pic has an 88 5th Avenue VIN on it. Was it an airbag car? Both the ones I had apart were the earlier non airbag ones.

    REAR SWAP

I think the difference is the charts usually use flange to flange for sizes because it's a fixed measurement. Flange to flange of early F/M is 54.340. And perch is 44.46 Flange to flange of later is an inch wider. Early B body 8 3/4 is usally listed at 55" flange to flange and 44" perch...

    REAR SWAP

No, flange to flange DID change an inch. That's been documented before and I saw that first hand putting a 79 axle in my 88. The only way tread to tread could change and nothing else is if offset or width of the wheels changed. And I think they did go from 6" to 7"? I'm guessing the axle width...

    EFI fuel tank

No, they were carbed till the end. Which is a bit odd because trucks got it and those two years got some of the biggest changes in the entire run next to the shift from the 70s to 80s styling.

    EFI fuel tank

No. Since they never had efi theres no tank you'll need to be creative.

    REAR SWAP

J Body axle should still be the same dimensions as F/M tho..
