    Speakers in doors?

I'm at work right now but I think I bought an adapter to put 2 3 1/2" speakers where the front dash speaker was. Something like this American International USB80 4" x 10" To Two 3-1/2" Speaker Adapters

    Seat swap

Thanks I figured that I would have to drill the holes going from bench to split bench or buckets. Now I just need to decide if I want the full M body seats, which are in decent shape or grab a set of butterscotch plaid buckets out of an F body wagon. The buckets are already unbolted. It's going...

    Fuel Injection for AHB

I've got the Fitech Go 400 EFI sitting behind me. It's going in my C body as soon as my tank is done. Only time will tell. It was on sale at Jegs and I purchased the 3 year warranty also. The way that I'm setting it up it will be easy to go back to carb if needed.

    Window track tube sleeve

I bought a 6 from the guy making them. I ordered them off of here but couldn't find the post. The package that he sent them in had no return address and by the time I tried finding him to order more the tracking number was no good. I could use a bunch if anyone can find him. Oh yeah if we do...

    Alignment problems?

Just a heads up the 4014352 and 4014353 are available on ebay at 10.00 each with 15.95 shipping plus 1.00 for each additional piece. I have to get my beater 5th Avenue realigned as I noticed it scuffing the outer edge of the tire. The guy who did it last time said it was temperamental but that...

    what oil type?

I'm a change the oil often guy. Usually at the start of the summer season on my cruisers (depending on miles driven) and every 3000 on my beater. I bought all the 10-40 and 10-30 wt, 5 gallon jugs of Master Mechanic when my local True Value closed for $9.00 each. I also picked up Purolator...

Gotta sadly drive the 5th today

I'm running studded mud and snows on the rear of mine. That and 200 lbs of sand in the trunk for weight. It does alright. It's my beater so I just run it through the automatic car wash as it washes the undercarrige. The tires were like new off my Diplomat. I just had them restudded. If it gets...

    Tire brand

It's not an R body. I was guessing on the year as it had the early heater controls like my 79 Diplomat and my F body parts car. On the wheel subject, The Mopar trims rings were too big but the 40.00 Corvette rings fit perfect. (Summit part# WVI 3002 1). Just my luck 160.00 for the trim rings...

    Tire brand

They came off of a 79 or 80 Gran Fury. They match the Diplomat paint perfect. My buddy sold them to me for 100.00. I have a picture of them on the car on my phone that I will try and get loaded up. The Chebbie trim rings of Ebay are a tad to big. I just received a Chrysler Rally trim ring today...

    Tire brand

Well I pulled the pin and ordered the Mickey Thompsons. Now I have 3 different brands and 3 different tire sizes on my M bodies. I have Cobra 225's on my 5th Cruiser. Nexium 215's on my 5th beater I did this because the Diplomat had a brand new set of 215 mud and snows that I appropriated for...

    Tire brand

I'm getting ready to order tires for my Diplomat. At the present I plan on getting 4 - 235/60/15's. Does anyone see a problem with the size? I will be running Chrysler road wheels which I think are 15 X 7 What brand tire do you recommend? As far as I see there are BF Goodrich T/A's, Cooper...

where does this grey hose go? non AC 88 Gran Fury

There is a vac hose connector up under the dash. Pull the cluster and stereo. Be careful with the connector as the other vac lines will pull out. Hopefully you will just need to put it back in the connector.

    Lug nut question

Do the 15" Road wheels that I picked up take the conical acorn or the bulged acorn lug nut? Or does it matter? I'm at work ordering stuff for the new Diplomat and would like to know. T.I.A.
