Looking to change my 76 volare to a manual. Anyone have a clutch setup to swap into mine. Would trade a small block aftermarket bracket and a/c pump setup for it. Or a built non lockup 518 maybe?..jusy seeing whats out there. Probably need to convert it to anhyd. Setup too so any ideas? Ty.

My column doesnt seem to have enough sticking through the firewall to attach the cable support braket/clamp to. Even the shifter arm is bent out and around the firewall. Is it just a really tight fit?

I need to run a cable to shidt my 518 using the super comp headers in my volare... has anyone had any luck with the column to cable shifter kits? Not much of the column sticks into the engine bay of the f body... not sure if this kit will even work. Dont want to pull the 60/40 bench for...

These super comp headers are a tight fit. The hedmans weren't so tight or BIG!

The passenger car emission laws are too strict. Pretty much impossible to do what they want and have Any reliability and performance.

I thought this was kind of cool. This is a stock 1990 5.9l efi Roller cam compaired to a lunati VooDoo roller with 231-239 duration and like .555 , .575 lift @1.6 rocker ratio. Going into my new build, 408 with indy heads. For my 76' volare.

No problems with head gaskets that i saw. Engine never ever got warm. Just bought a. Stroker kit. I will be willing to buy them back anytime if your not satisfied. Ive got a set of kb107's and 360 rods sitting here now too. And a wieand 7545 in great shape. I woild never pass off engine...

Did you get the heads ok?

Ive found as far as roller cams go... if the engine has efi, then its a roller cam. 85 included.

Are they a 894 or 915 casting number? 1.88 or 2.02 intake valve? Usually O heads were the lastnof the 340's. 72-73. But i think some were on the same year 360's too but with 1.88" intake valves.

I've decieded to go the smog legal route here in California so I'm swapping over to a magnum EFI upper engine system. The heads are the CNC ported version with 68cc chamber the same as Ebay item#181706168884 . These heads have maybe 2000 miles on them and include a set of PRW 1.6 aluminum...

Bad side again.

18" wheels off of newer challenger with new rear rubber. Dual 2.5" exhaust to two 50 series flowmasters and then into single 4" over the axle into a large 4" muffler across the back exiting the rear drivers corner. Pretty quiet actually considering.... You hear the headers though.

Kb107 piston 360 with cnc ported aluminum speedmaster Heads. 650 holley dp. Electric fans and hooker headers. Comp xe275hl cam and prw 1.6 ratio roller rockers. 518 trans. Non lockup. W/2800 converter. Red alto performance fr9ction kit . Manual/auto valve body. New suregrip and 3.55...

Still running good! About to tear down and have engine ballanced. Or maybe do a stroker.
