Can it be purchased somewhere like in an aerosol can i wonder?

My question on my 78 is how did they paint this from the factory, the dark blue first then splatter white on it? I am wanting to repaint some of my trunk inside to match factory job but wondering if anybody actually knew how it was done

Thanks, I bought this one. I seen the other one for 50 bucks but couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a used cap. This plastic one will work just fine.

I looked in my parts book and only numbers in the book is for chrome or woodgrain however the factory cap was either metal painted or plastic painted but all were painted or woodgrain for a wagon

I could has sworn that the original one was all metal with a metal handle but it was a very long time ago that I lost it and the dealer parts replacement was the chrome one but I am thinking that the all plastic one is the route that I will be going, just gotta find one now for a reasonable price.

So I am needing to replace the gas cap on my Volare KC and wondering what is out there as I will need to paint it, most available are chrome caps but that is not what is supposed to be on there and I am coming up empty on ebay for paintable caps, any ideas?

I used to work in a dodge dealership at the time i bought this car and ordered several things for it under warranty

glad to have the parts book, also the factory service manuals, (chassis and electric) i have owned the car for 43 years and finally got around to getting them, lol

it has all the info about super coupes and kit cars i was looking for, the parts book is a lot larger than the first one i got, not that any of the numbers i was looking for are available anymore. lol

I already found, purchased and received a later revision book of march 1979 but thanks guys

I am gonna say no on the video, but I am looking to find the video for sure. As far as what day the first and last was produced would take some time finding all out there to create a list and even then you will miss some

The build date on my car is the same as Jacks car, his was built 2 hours before mine and the VIN numbers are 5 numbers apart with mine being the higher number, I would say the numbers are kind of sequential with the cars being built first had a lower number VIN but not all in a row, if that helps

Ok, So which revision of the 1978 parts catalog have the super coupes and kit cars in them, I purchased a 1978 mopar parts catalog on e-bay and not in there, it is 81-690-1340 august 1977. I would rather have an OEM parts catalog than a cd disk or download, any help if you know the answer, thanks
