So when I turn my high beams on it turns off all the lights in the front blinkers included. Any thoughts on why?

In the process of swapping my mirada to a 833 but didn't realize there were a crap ton of shifters to chose from. I have a center console out of an Aspen. Does anyone know what shifter will work?
