As the tittle says u have a beat up 1985 Chrysler fifth Avenue she doesn’t run and atm it’s a fuel issue along with some cosmetic damage to be honest she’s old (obviously) but Father Time has taken a BAT to this beaut (and a tree) no rust on the frame just some surface stuff in random places...

Is there anyway to check it without pulling the whole front engine off also do you have vacuum line diagrams by any chance

I’d have to see about compression but when I got her she ran with pouring gas in the carb

Do you have a link to a kit because I’m running out of ideas and I hate the air filter computer set up

I’ve got these two missing towards the back right on the firewall and the air pump doesn’t have a belt on its pulley

I did in fact pull the air cleaner I’m not at the car rn I’m out and about I can take pictures when I get home because I have hoses missing like vacuum lines and how does the filter need to be to have it run

I’m running out of ideas she’s got fun I know she’s got spark I shocked myself but it just won’t run when I got her I saw and heard her run with my very own eyes and ears he just poured some gas in the carb and she would jog a little bit but I’ve got gas and I’m not getting anywhere I’m running...

She is a pile of junk I got pressure to the carb some new clean gas and she puts kinda a lot of fuel it seems a bit excessive and this last time I cranked her she spit fuel out of the plunger that connects to the throttle, I’m running out of ideas it’s got fuel it’s got spark and I’ve heard it...

So I changed the fuel sending unit and got pressure to the carb but only from a bottle with gas so I’m pretty sure the lines are rusted out there’s rust outside so probably in too but the carbs kinda just dumping fuel and it still doesn’t want to start

What do I check if I’m not getting fuel pressure I pull the lines on the pump and they pumps pumping but it won’t work from the gas tank I’m thinking either the lines from the gas tank to the engine bay are bad or my fuel sending units clogged any thought ?

Where can I get some fuel lines for my 5th Avenue I want to get them replaced just to have that piece of mind but I’m having trouble finding stuff online so I was wondering where do you guys get yours at

I tried checking the gauge I had it propped up and the gauge jump to a quarter tank then dropped again and I checked the sending unit and it’s still propped up so idk might be bad or just a poor electrical connection I have to look a little more into when the ground dries it’s been raining a lot

Yeah it’s a bit rough right now and I still got some stuff to do to get her going again but I think it’ll happen soon enough and thanks for the link

So I have rusted out fuel sending unit I don’t have the money right now to replace it, at the moment it’s gonna be Atleast a month before I get the money can it still be used (with a bit of cleaning as best I can) because this car has a mechanic fuel pump rather than the electric with the fuel...

Is it just more roof (painted roof) like will i be ok removing it and not having an ugly spot underneath mines torn to hell and so I’m thinking of removing it I just don’t know what’s underneath
