Looking or a 140 mph speedo from a st regis ( R-body ) cop car. same dash as mirada
They didn't make a 140 speedo for the R body. They had a 125 speedo like the M body for the Police Package cars.
Thanks for correct info. Do you have one for sale?
You know the speed-limit is like 65 or so right? lol
You know that you can use the tach as a speed-O in top gear right? I mean if 60mph is 2000rpm,then 3000 is 90,and 4000 is 120,and 5000 is 150, etc,lol.Jus-sayin'
85 mph speedo looks funny in a car with a gen 2 hemi under the hood. 125 mph is more in line -150 would be nice but no such animal.Lol
A Gen 2 Hemi?
I need to see pictures.
I can see a 140km speedometer as a possibility.

No, I'm sorry I don't have one for sale. I do see them pop up on ebay occasionally though. I agree, the 85 mph looks hideous.
Maybe look for a Canadian one in kilometers? Or possibly get a decal to place over the existing housing. Even though the speed limit might be 65, you do get an occasion to hit 130.
Yeah but if you have occasion to hit it, do you really need to know? I mean the first thing the cop always says is;"do you know why I stopped you?, and the second is do you have any idea how fast you where going?"
I'd like rather not to have to say 135.
But maybe,I guess, that's just me.
Besides, we go 100/110 all the time......KPH
When cops ask questions make sure that siri is turned off.
I think we're just going for a better, cooler look here with the speedometer. I doubt he's trying to get out on the road and peg it.
I'd still rather have the 85er. At least then I'd have an answer; SirYesSir; my speedO was indicating 64.5 MPH,Sir.
I am not risking my driver's license, for a speeding ticket!
I would use one if you know where I can get one
Others might be of help, but not me.
Its been over 30 years sense I've even stuck my head inside of a J or R body.
What have you been sticking in them??? LOL!!! Same here, just don't see them around anymore, sadly.
Here you go. No reserve on a NOS 125 mph Police Speedometer.
