1977 Mexican Spec Dodge Dart - 50728R
Hello Friends
As I live in Mexico I have access to all the special Mexican Spec cars they made. If this one isn't for you I can find you one you will love.
Here we have a 1977 Mexican Spec Dodge Dart. This was the first year for the F-Body in Mexico.
Under the hood is the 225 slant 6 mated to a manual transmission.
This is a well cared for car.
In this year Chrysler Mexico used the Dodge Aspen front with the Plymouth Volare rear. This was common in Mexico.
What makes this car special is the floor mounted shift lever. You can tell this was installed from the factory from the lock color on the steering column.
To get the key out you have to push down on this collar.
While this is a great driving car as it is, a 360 V8 will fit in there very well and then you have the best sleeper in the world.
The slotted mags, of course, are aftermarket. A lot of people like them. I would prefer a set of the Magnum 500s on this car.
The interior features blue vinyl bucket seats with blue cloth inserts. The rear seat matches the front.
This is not a perfect car. it is still a daily driver so a little work needs done on the interior like the drivers door panel.
The car has a factory heater but no factory air.
A couple pieces of the grille are broken out. maybe it can be fixed from a parts car.
Finding a clean original car like this is getting harder and harder.
It could be tough.
The vehicle delivered to the Nogales border will be $8,450 dollars. This includes delivery to the Nogales Arizona border from Southern Mexico via professional transport.
If you have any questions about the importation process, I will be happy to answer them.
I know the thought of buying from Mexico makes people nervous. I can provide references from my previous clients if necessary.
You can see more Mexican vehicles at mexicanspec.com and if interested please read the Procedure link on my website to learn more.
