1978 Petty Kit car modified with 360 crate engine, Purple shaft .454 cam, Magnum mini headers, System One oil filter, PowerMaster one wire alternator, Proform Electric water pump, LineLok, Edelbrock Nascar Air Gap intake, Mopar black wrinkle valve covers, Nascar Goodyear front tires, 3.91 posi 8 3/4 setup in rear, 727 trans, reverse valve body, deep pan, poly trans mount, Holley Sniper EFI, Holley Digital dash, interior complete , Cheetah shifter on floor, 14.20's on Holley carb, fuel cell in trunk, converted to manual brakes/ manual steering (originally Power S/B-have those original parts), original numbers matching engine, 8 1/4 rear, dated coded manifolds, carb, intake; original A/C car, have all those parts also; small shed full of Volare 1978 replacement parts included, some NOS stuff. Seats carpet, headliner dash, doors, bumpers all redone. Paint not original. Front suspension power coated, poly bushings installed all corners. Couple of dents/scrapes on driver side door pillar from a box falling on it, noticeable but only from 2 feet, could be fixed but I wasn't worried about it as it's a driver to have some fun with car to me. Never completed the pin stripes. Used for Drag racing one season (2014), cruise nights, and some car shows, been running and PA inspected since 2009. Starts in any weather, drivability is fine but could use a dyno tune for WOT. Bought out of Georgia in 2003, considered this a preservation not a restoration, garage kept since 2003. Located in Eastern PA between Reading and Philadelphia. Approximately 90k miles, was at 80k when I bought it. No leaks. Will post more pictures of interior, engine compartment if there is any interest. Asking $12000, fly in drive it home, or bring a truck and trailer and load up a ton of parts.
