Anyone know of a place or service that can do repair to my tilt steering wheel. Plastic is cracked and the woodgrain trim ring is flaking off. I have looked on line and even sent pictures to a few shops but they all tell me that they don't do that particular model. I do know that the tilt wheel is not the same as the manual and I beleive the tuff wheel is not an option. Anyone know of what other models like Fury or diplomate that use the same one? Every one I see has the same damage in the same places. Maybe just the way they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cracks in plastic wheels are typical with age. Plastic shrinks and cracks in the weakest areas, such as near the spokes.

The same 3 spoke wheel was available on F and M bodies, as well as Magnum, St Regis,

The woodgrain is probably what restoration companies are shying away from (only a guess). Even if they did, steering wheel restoration isn't cheap.

A Tuff wheel and adaptor will bolt right on.

Tilt and non-tilt columns all use the same steering wheels.
