1979 Dodge aspen starting issue

Been using car until this am when i went to try to start. Turned key and nothing happened not even idiots lights were on. Tried again same thing but held key foward and it started to crank but not start. Next time

i only get clicking sound. Battery new but i checked it anyway. Where should i start at first. Thanks

From your description, I'd start by checking the ignition switch. See if it has power in, and then power out on the correct terminals in accy, start and run positions.

Finally got to the car this weekend. It was the battery. Had volts but when load tested it had next to none. I checked battery before i started to adj CARB. My shop
exchanged it no problem, he said he has nothing but problem's with NAPA batteries
lately.
