Hello friends
This is not your average Dodge Diplomat.
The Chrysler Super Bee had a rich history in Mexico.
The model started in 1970 on the Duster platform and in 1977 moved to the Dodge Aspen platform.
When the Aspen went out of production the V8 performance car was moved to the M Body platform and here we have this car.
This is a 1981 Mexican Spec Dodge Magnum
Under the hood is a 360 V8 linked to an automatic transmission operated with a floor shifter.
The majority of these Magnums were 4 speed manual which make it a little more fun to drive.
What stands out most on this car is that the bumpers have been tucked in so they don't stick out so much. Some people like this very much.
The interior features blue velour bucket seats. Bonus: It has factory seat belts.
The wheels on this car were only used on the Magnum. Yes I know they look like Corvette wheels but they are not.
The engine and engine compartment is very clean and features power steering and power brakes.
There is no factory air here to slow this car down. Keep in mind the gas crisis did not hit Mexico so they did not detune the engines from the early '70's.
The 360 came out in 1975 in Mexico and at that time it was not a smogged out slow engine.
This car was produced for only 2 years and was discontinued in favor of the front wheel drive K cars.
It was an end of an era and you really should have this car. Remember the automatic is faster than the manual.
Here is the break down on the cost of the vehicle. The vehicle itself will be $8,900 dollars. Transport from where it is to the Nogales Arizona border $950 dollars for a total of $9,850. This price includes transport from Central Mexico to the border at Nogales. We are paying almost $6.00 US per gallon of gasoline or diesel.
Lately the exchange rate has been all over the place so please ask for an up to date price.
If you have any questions about the importation process, I will be happy to answer them.
* We Can Now Offer US Delivery * - What this means is we can cross the car and you as the buyer would need to pick it up in Nogales Arizona or arrange transport to your location.
I know the thought of buying from Mexico makes people nervous.
I can provide references from my previous clients if necessary.
