It is a sharp looking car and darn reasonably priced.

Pretty at first glance, but those lower doors look pretty scary. I wonder what the rest of the under side looks like. I am guessing they did not follow the Captain's lead and dip that thing in oil every season.

It almost looks more like surface rust rather than rotted out rust (at this point).
Around here you could dip the entire car in grease, spray oil into every nook and cranny and if it was driven in winter at all,,,,,,,,,,still rust, especially after 25-30 years. Heck, I work on cars and trucks at work that are rotted out and they're only 6 or 7 years old They LOVE their salt and, worse yet, liquid brine solution here.

Every car I've owned had done that up here. I agree with Aspen500 that it could just be surface rust. If so.....at that price I could totally deal with that.
