Christmas will be here soon!!!

Folks who participated in the gift exchange last year seemed to like it, so lets give it a go again this year.

General Guidelines:
Add your name to this thread and I'll collect them all until November 30 at midnight.
I'll randomly select a name for each person and you exchange gifts through the mail.
You don't need to purchase anything, just something you might have that's mopar or car related or something you made from your hobby, something that might be of use to someone else, or for the pets you have.

You pay for the shipping of your gift to the member that was picked for you.
The person you send a gift to may not be the same person who sends you a gift. But everyone should get something (unless there is a slacker among us).

There is no price limit, you can regift a gift you received if you so chose, you can make something, spend $1 or spend $200, select something from your garage-- You never know what to expect.

Start submitting your names quickly cause the time will fly.
Remember- after you get your gift and open it, post a picture on the thread so we can all see what you got.

Just a reminder about signing up for the Christmas gift exchange....
Please let me know you want to participate by Monday morning.
I'll do the name draw Monday night.

Looks like we are running lean this year.
You guys need to remember that you can use this as an opportunity to unload some of those parts and pieces sitting on the garage shelves. You don't have to buy anything, just be thoughtful about your regifting.

This really is a fun time to see what each person gets!
Just add a post on this thread and I'll hook you up.

If there's a chance, a M guy would be perfect for me.
Lot more M than F stuff.

Also our postmen are on a union hissy fit, so I need another shipper.

I always send to the USA as a gift and use $1 for a value, because there has to be a value.
No one has to pay extra to the government for parts when I send it.

If you are sending to Canada, mail is NOT a option unless I wait till Feb. to get it.
Currently there are over 400 trucks of unsorted mail and Canada Post is asking people and countries not to send mail.

Why would there be 400 trucks of unsorted mail?
Do you need more workers or was there a mechanical failure?

I ask because this summer we didn't get mail for nearly 20 days.
Some doofus mailed a box of liquid mercury which was 1) not wrapped properly and 2) sent in regular mail instead of ground.
Course it leaked and being a 'hazardous material' they shut the regional facility down and had to decontaminate it. Took freaking forever.

My USPS world journey letter was priceless.
Guy sent $10 to me from Atlanta.
6/7/8 days later we where both wondering what happened.

On the 10th day it showed up.
Instead of coming to CANADA it went to Lusaka, ZAMBIA.
And the guy in Zambia just didn't pluck or toss the letter.
$10US was good money in Zambia at the time.
So Atlanta, Lusaka, Toronto and me in 10 days isn't bad.
Got good value with that post stamp.
