7.25 axle 2.2 gears...FREE

Have a 7.25 axle 2.2 ratio complete drum to drum. Gears are trashed. Anyone have a need for it not sure its worth anything but thought i would offer it up...for free for anyone who can use it.

Its even worse than that........I cant find a local place that will take it for scrap....go figure.

That is weird.
Maybe you have to drain the gear oil first or something.
Did they say why?

You would think they would take anything at 1.00 per 100.00 lbs right now.
2 places here had to close because of the low scrap price.

Yep, just like you said, it has to be cleaned of all oils.......using a specific alchol based type product and steam pressure washed.............not worth that trouble.......would rather give it to some one in need....but no luck. It would make one heck of a trailer wagon or boat anchor?
