Here is a great start for someone! This wagon is in Tuscon AZ and looks to have zero rust issues. Basic wagon with the Super Six and A/C! Ad states it only has 70K miles! This would be good for a "fly in and drive home" like I did when I bought OY in Colorado. Check it out, looks like it has lots of potential!

OY was much nicer from the start. Plus this is a very low optioned car. It's a great canvas for something better.

Thanks Darth-car, but OY needed some TLC from the start (and still does unfortunately). However everything needed was minor, and the bigger projects, like the switched out interior, are simply because that's what I decided I wanted :D. The best things about it though are that it is rust free and a four speed. That's what took me so long to find, and why I thought this posted wagon might be just what someone is looking for! ;)

I have to wonder why???? since these speedos go to only 99,999 people think they have never ever rolled over once, or twice??

I watched mine roll-over at least 3 times, and I bought a 1980 model in 1994...... so who knows how many times that dial has zeroed itself.
I can tell you this; When I got it, the engine and rear end were broken, it needed a complete front end rebuild, all new brakes, new exhaust and paint. I bought it for it's pristine body... and fine interior, for the princely sum of $100C. I have had it now for 25 years, and altho it hasn't been on the road in at least 3 years, I still take it for a spin at least once every summer.
Oh sorry, mines in kilometers. But if it's on the 5th time, that would be a minimum of 248,000 miles. And I think it's currently close to another roll-over, making it close to 300,000 miles.
The interior is still fair except the the driver's seat wouldn't fold down any more, so I got her some GrandPrix seats. That's when I ran into the Cat hump under the passenger seat. And that's why my short wife now sits eye to eye with me,lol.

This car has more options than my ’77 Volare wagon has (like A/C, remote Left mirror and steering wheel, Oh and A/C). Other than the steering wheel, it has the same interior has my wagon has.

It also has C-body steel road wheels on it (one of my favorite steel wheels – if it had the missing caps and rings on them).

This would look sweet with blue plaid seats in it . . .

Yes indeed! But I have only ever seen blue plaid seats in the coupes, never the wagons, but that doesn't necessarily mean they never had them. I thought this was a very nice wagon offered.

Amazing that the bidding stalled at $1050!! Fourteen bids, but reserve not met. I can guarantee that if it was within a days range, I would buy it even though I don't need it. I'm just not up for another cross country sojourn right now.

Here is the same car listed on some collector auto site. Gives a better idea of what the owner is looking for money wise. I'd want to make sure the title is clean - "abandoned gas station"? o_O

Seems to be a great car to workaround. Exterior looks good.
