I'll try and find time to check it out on my next trip to T.O. in a couple of months.

Likely will still be for sale, unless Jay Leno sees it first.

I wouldn't bother unless you're interested in buying the car.
And if you are interested.. You've got a lot of negotiating to do.
If you ask me that car is priced about $6000 too high.
Good luck.

It would appear you and the seller are pretty far apart on a selling price, unfortunately this sounds like one of those cars you will have to stalk for a few years. My guess is he is just testing the market to get a feel of its worth, once he realizes that his price is way too high he might come around, again this may take years.

Yep. Like I said, I talked to the guy.
He's definitely fishing.
If anyone really wants this car,
I'll be happy to call him and start giving him a reality check.
I mentioned before a couple of years ago there was a lady selling a MINT 1978 Dip 2 door boat tail for $2500. And I do mean MINT.

That the white one?

Hey, I was starting to think I was asking too much for mine. The Dip is nice but $7500 ???

A little over the top.
Like I said, saw an absolutely mint one a couple of years ago for $2500.
It was spotless AND wasn't missing all the pieces that this one is.
Fishing.:jerk:
