79-80 duster package

My question Is what code number should be on fender tag for the 79 80 duster package? Thank you for any info if you have one post a picture of your car would love to see some.

A42 is what I am looking for thanks guys ,I've heard you could order them with a slant 6 up to a e58 360 car

I know you could get a S6 and 318, not sure about 360, either 2 or 4 brl. My Aspen is a Sunrise with Decor pkg, same as Duster on Volare and it was a S6.
If it also has the code A48, it has the decor pkg which added 2 tone paint, paint accent tape stripes separating two-tone paint and styled road wheels with white letter tires, to the A42 Sunrise/Duster pkg.

Great info I found a car that I believe has the duster package and is a v8 car .iam going to go back and check fender tag .to find our more details on the car unfortunately ..I think it's just a parts car .had side window louvers and tail panel stripe

If it has the 1/4 louvers and stripe it's almost a sure thing it's a Duster pkg car.

Virtually NEVER will you see the package code on the fender tag. You need to look for the codes for the components that make up the package. So in this case all of the stripes, mouldings and the highback plaid cloth and vinyl seat codes. And yes, all of these "trim" packages had no restrictions on engines. So anything from a 225-1V on up to an E58 360 could be ordered as well.

My tag has both pkg codes on it, A42 and A48, so there.
