There are a few 8 1/4 on Mopars and they don't all interchange, car, truck, etc. spline, posi's. Can I get the right info. I wish to change out the 7 1/4 on my M body for a 8 1/4 while I start collecting parts for a very stout street machine. I've located one from an F body and its an open rear.

If you have one from an F body you are there. I cannot remember exactly but after 96' or 97' the axle has a 29 spline compared to the older ones. They say the late model Jeep Cherokees and dozen variations have disc brakes that swap right on!!
