Let me see if I can get them off without breaking off the studs. I sprayed them with penetrating oil today, and will try to get them off tomorrow. I will keep you informed.......

Only as a last resort. Don’t want to destroy the hard rubber that the studs are mounted into.

If you use enough heat to loosen a stuck nut it'll melt the plastic. Altho usually the stud breaks zbd then you're also stuck trying to do something with what's left which would also start melting it.

These guards are common to all "M" body cars from 1980 through to the end of production. No need to look just for an '80 Volare.

Most M body’s have the rubber nerf strip.

Okay great. I believe mine has been rechromed by a previous owner, it's very nice but missing the guards. Would you be selling the whole bumper or just the guards?

If the nuts are stuck I would rather get the whole bumper. If you were able to ship I would pay your time and labor to ship. If not I could arrange to pick it up. Or if you can easily remove just the guards and ship that would be great.
