Yes, it is a sad commentary on the education system. Too many people can't even find the United States on a globe.....................And the dumbing down of society continues.
P.S. Now I know how who voted in our current president,,,,,,,,,,,,twice....................(not meant to get political!)

I saw the video on TV last week, but a recent thing got me thinking of that Mt Rushmore vid.
In English, 'A stone's throw away' means a proximity/area.
'The three churches were a stone's throw away'
In American it means to throw stones, which could be violent.
