I'm purchasing an 8 3/4 axle housing that came out of a '65 B body, and I'm going to use it for my 1980 Diplomat project. I have the sure grip unit, and I plan on using 3.55s. The best price I can find for axles is $160 each for Yukon from Randy's Ring and Pinion. Can anyone testify to the quality of their axles? I'm not going to be abusing them with any crazy horsepower, I'd be surprised if they ever saw 400. The engine and trans setup I'm building is a mild 360/904 on a small shot of nitrous (100-125). Should I expect any problems?

I've got Yukon axle shafts from Mancini in my 8 3/4" and no problems at all (500" stroker big block/ auto trans). They were a bit more because I ordered them with the bearings and studs installed (think it was like $400 for the pair roughly, plus shipping about 3 years ago).
