I had a '79 Aspen R/T from 1997-2004, I sold it, or more accurately, gave it away for $2000 in the summer of '04. Couldn't get a better price than that. It's an A57 E58 car, black with the gold stripes, bucket seats and center console. It had the gold aluminum wheels and I had upgraded the 8-1/4" axle to a rebuilt 3.90 sure grip. I had rebuilt a 1976 360 truck 727 transmission with a 340 torque converter for it, but I made sure the numbers matching 727 went with the car. I also converted it to the orange box electronic ignition. It was shown in 2 videos on my website, www.loudmouthtim.com , episodes 19 and 20, in 2003.
