Since 1st Brands went bankrupt recently, I have been looking for parts for my brake kits so I would not have to raise the price. Dorman is supposedly going to take up the slack, per industry reports. But I don't think that they will be able to keep up. My supplier has told me that as of July 1, expect 10-15% increase in cost. I love doing the kits. I don't make a lot on them, but I can't stand the increase. I have looked at different suppliers, but they are now at what my cost will be on July 1st. I will hold the price line at the 300.00 shipped in the lower 48, for the 10- and 11-inch kits until June 30th. After that, I will have to raise the price or quit doing them. It is a service for our hobby that has taken off better than I imagined. I think that I have enough parts to do 5-6 10-inch and 6 11-inch kits. So sorry that I have to do this.
