I love them too. When Velocity TV was Speed TV they used to replay his show in the mornings. I recorded it everyday. This is one of my favorite road tests;

"Giticks"?? A beautiful car. If only I could have bought one back in the day... I was lucky enough to have bought a 2 year old '70 Challenger R/T when I was right out of high school. White with black top and black interior with black longitudinal stripe down the side and rally wheels. Owned it for five years, put on over 100k, and foolishly traded it in. Agh! I'll have to find a pic of it and post it sometime. It was a beauty!
Gotta love that 69 GTX 440, although it's no Hemi Momma !
I saw a road test for the 1968 GTX's Hemi vs. 440, and the 440 took the Hemi off the line for a little ways until the Hemi wound itself up to pass the 440. That stock 480 foot pounds of torque in the 440 was incredible in launching that big car.
