Question. I have an 86 Roller block motor and I'm thinking of getting a 5.9 Magnum crank and turning it down to fit the 318 Journals. I know there's a lot of other work involved to get a stroker going but as far the crank itself is there any issue with doing that?

A 360/5.9 crank in a 318 is going to yield something like 350ish cubes. Totally not worth it unless you're doing some kind of goofy class racing.

Get a cast 4" crank and make a 390. Nothing wrong with cast ast long as it's under 450 horse power and not spinning past 6k. Those cranks go for $350. You'll have less into that than you will turning a factory crank down. Just stay away from Eagle - they're shit.
