Here is some pics of my Duster on the tour and some of the other cars that were there. Last minute, the brother in law talked me into going (53 Studebaker)
Had 108 days to put this car together and drove over 5000 km. What a blast.
Plan on doing the Super Run this summer, going to make a few changes, spoilers, wheel flairs and cop wheels. Hope to see some FMJ bodies out there this year.

The cruise officially started in Lethbridge Alberta and we went as far as Vancouver BC. The tour ended at Deuce Days in Victoria BC. One of the main sponsors was A&W so we cruising the Dub. Here is some pics along the way.

There really is a Star Trek museum there.
Drumheller A&W.jpg

This was the only pic we took in Drumheller AB. We didn't stay long due to a tornado warning in the area. Some of us managed to get around it, some chose to sightsee and had to drive through the hail. Panel truck actually had a burn spot on its roof from lightning and lots of hail damage. That was his welcome to Alberta... yikes.

Revelstoke A&W.jpg

Jump ahead to Revelstoke BC A&W. There was a speed shop stop in Calgary and a few A&W's again before here. Didn't do the Speed shop tour as I needed to change mufflers to something a little more forgiving on the ears.

Kamloops start2.jpg

This is in Kamloops BC. They gave us a police escort the night before to a big car show. One of the coolest things I have ever did. There was at least 100 cars in the parade.

Quick pit stop along the road. Took some pics of the tour driving by. Truck and Challenger was the A&W sponsor. This was on the old #1 Highway closes thing to your Route 66 that we have up here LOL.
Langley start.jpg

Langley start2.jpg

This was the start of our day in Langley BC. Some more speed shops and A&W's. We departed from the pack at Vancouver and most crossed over to the Island for Deuce Days. We toured around the lower mainland for a couple more days before we worked our way back to Calgary. What an experience touring across a couple of provinces with a pack of old cars. It's kinda cool, every time we stopped it was an instant car show.

We all know what Ford stands for. Found on road dead. Considering there were way more Fords it was to be expected. Lots of the problems were broken shock mounts on the rods. One alternator on the Chev panel, lower rad hose on a 460 Mustang II, the odd electrical gremlins, tranny line on 55 Dodge truck. The worse problem being a pitman arm snapping in half after just coming through the twisty Rocky Mountains. Good thing it happened just as he was parking in Golden BC.
More cars hooked up everyday along the trip, some didn't do the whole tour. The longest distance went to the orange deuce from North Carolina, he drove all the way to Deuce Days in Victoria BC. All in all, we all made sure everyone made it.
