Chole for a 1981 Mirada 318-4BBL

Hi,

I brought home a 1982 Mirada CMX yesterday. While in generally good shape, it is missing its choke rod, the one that goes between the themal or hot air choke on the side of the intake manifold and the thermoquad carburetor. Does anybody know a part number for it and a source, or a part number and/or source for the choke assembly with the rod? Thanks for any information/leads.

eBay has a vendor that sells Carter chokes. Thats where I got mine, comes with rod. Has application chart for choke on listing if that helps. Didn't come with retainer clip however. Hope this helps.

Don't waste your money on the blister pack at Autozone or the like. They have everyone you don't need, but not the one you do need. Any clip off of a V8 should work. I got mine off of a '72 318 2bbl.
