Here is mine, 77 Volare wagon, Supersix, 833-od. Payed $100 for it. Replaced every brake part, clutch, exhaust... Fun daily driver. I'm in the process of building a slant for it. 9.5:1, erson RV15 cam, 390 holley, headers.

I think you might hold the record so far for the longest user name on this site anyways...:icon_cheers:Yea, I wasn't thinking when I came up with that name.
The pic dosen't do justice as to how badly it needs a paint job.
I hope Creed don't mind me posting his Valare for him
You can only imagine all the work it takes to remove all the glass, int exetra :icon_mrgreen: he will be here tonight after work and get his thread started on his car, I have all the pictures on my computer :icon_mrgreen:
He has a complete roll bar system 6 point circle track system ready to go in and will add 2 more point hook up to the front for an 8 point cage
I built this bracket buggy for less than 5K, and been racing it for over a decade. It's not all that fast (mid/low 13's), but it sure is deadly consistant.

I am retired USAF SMSgt (32 years service), now living in PR. Own 1979 Aspen R/T (only owner), full power (A/C, PS, PB, c-control, bucket seats, console, etc), original 318/904, new ride 400/727, tunnel ram, 2 550H, rally wheels (7x14, 195x75x14 @ front, 10x15, 295x50x15 @ rear), original aluminum rally wheels are on storage (not for sale), 8 3/4 rear end (489/323 unit for daily use, MP 430 spooled for the track). Interiors were refreshed 8 years ago, new 5 point seat belts, MP tach, replaced AM/FM/8-track radio with a AM/FM/CD/Cassette (from Dodge ram). Best time 15.51, @92 mph (1/4 mile) with single carb. Still adding more goodies....
WOW ! Talk about dejavu (sp) ! Bought the very same looking car , same floor plan , and almost same wheels about 20 years ago for about the same money . I loved that car .:icon_cheers:
The wheels weren't on it when I got it, I've put over $2000 in it to get it on the road. I needed a car big enough for my entire family(4kids+wife and me). I just need to deal with a few more minor issues, I'm very happy with it over all though.
Make you start a project thread and detail all of your progress with picsHi Guys here's my 78 Aspen as it was when I brought it in 01, and some work in progress pics of the rebuild.
When I brought it, the only one in Australia, was converted to RH drive:
