Currently swapping out my factory AM only radio for an AM/FM/8-track radio. There are these two connectors behind the radio that were unused from the factory. Anybody have any idea what they could be? Obviously for some option that my car does not have, I just don't know what that option could have been. Mainly just curious. My radio install continues uninterrupted. Car is a 1978 Plymouth Volare. 448192609_821284926254957_5382658484410685909_n.jpg448215000_321667130987863_933209752814209326_n.jpg448211231_444718004945635_6775040303059680089_n.jpg448200461_990926025960610_1952424464234650584_n.jpg448452944_1229644774857198_2444274900091123217_n.jpg

Those plugs look like these but they're usually not behind the radio.
The power antenna control has a similar plug but they usually aren't pre wired for it without the option and when a Chrysler doesn't have the plug its less likely for a Volare to have it. Unless maybe it was a fully optioned one?

This car is fairly basic. Yes it has a radio, but it's an AM only. Plain 2 speed wipers, no clock, nothing all too special in it.
